I’m Australian and grew up with Kylie Minogue on the television in a small-time series called Neighbours. She was a household name then (with Jason Donovan), and she’s an even bigger household name now.
I can’t believe she’s 40!
You go girl!

Thanks to Noz who introduced me to this 8 minute Dr Who link.
Check out the Time Crash Dr Who on YouTube (8 mins).
Favourite lines:
- “Not a lot of men can pull off a decorative vegetable”
- “I know who you are… you’re a fan!!”

I love world music - my music collection holds music from Bollywood to the UK (that other Indian state
), Israel, Africa, to name a few.
Lately I’ve rediscovered calabashmusic.com - which is where I can buy a great deal of music without the heavy import fees, for 99c per track download - which despite the trend against paying for music, I feel that World Music needs the shot in the arm, and quite a bit of it is so cool, and more alive than the pop music that we usually listen to.
So hop on over to The National Geographic Music website, and Calabashmusic.com (their online music store) for some real finds!

Based on the quasi-review at io9, I wanna see ‘Wanted’! [check out preview]
I’ve always been a Jolie fan… something rebellious about her that appeals to me, I guess (that and I think she’s damn sexy), but the movie sounds like a ’switch-your-brain-off-just-watch-the-action’ rush that I like to see!
That and Morgan Freeman is in it… in’t he just style on two legs!????
